No, there was no visa required. It was visa-free for Indian travellers, but I had to complete the digital arrival card online before travelling.
I filled the digital arrival card on the official embassy website about 72 hours before my flight departure.
I carried my passport, a copy of my flight ticket, and the digital arrival card confirmation. I kept everything on my phone, but also had backups just in case.
The immigration process was smooth. They checked my passport and asked a couple of basic questions.
They asked why I was travelling, where I would be staying, and how many days I planned to stay in Thailand. Since I was clear about my itinerary, it was straightforward.
I was ready to show my return ticket and accommodation details, but they mainly focused on my passport and arrival details.
I stayed in Thailand for 10 days, which was well within the allowed visa-free period.
No major issues. As long as you complete the digital arrival card on time and know your travel details, the process is quite easy.
Make sure to fill the digital arrival card at least a couple of days before your flight, know your hotel details and return date, and keep basic documents handy.
